Top quality tough, traditional, solvent and oil based interior exterior high gloss enamel.
USES: |
- Final coat for interior and exterior cement plaster, wood, metal.
- Previously painted surfaces in sound condition.
- Easy to clean due to low dirt retention.
- Ideal for use on high traffic areas or surfaces that may require frequent washing.
- Very tough and hardwearing.
- Ideal for painting doors, windows.

PRODUCT INFORMATION: |
- Type: Long Oil Alkyd.
- Appearance: High Gloss.
- Colors: White and a range of colors. Pastel, Medium and Deep tone colors can be tinted on request.
- Solids: 64 – 66% by mass.
- Density: 1.08 – 1.20.
- Recommended Dry Film Thickness: Minimum 20 µm and maximum 30µm.
- Specific Gravity: 1.08 – 1.2.
- Viscosity at 25ºC. : 65 -70 Krebs µ.
- Flash Point: 34ºC.
APPLICATION DETAILS: |
- Mixing: Stir well before use.
- Method: Short nap mohair roller or brush.
- Thinning: Do not thin.
- Clean up: Mineral Turpentine.
- Spreading rate: 8 – 10 m ²/l depending on surface porosity and profile.
- Conditions: Avoid painting in wet or cold weather. Minimum temp 8º C
- Drying time: Touch dry 4 hours. Hard dry 18 hours at 25 degrees.
- Recoating time: 18 hours.
- Requirements: 2 coats.
SURFACE PREPARATION: |
- New Surfaces must be sound, clean and dry before painting.
- Concrete and cement: Prime with 1 coat Versus Plaster Primer followed with 1 coat of Versus Universal Undercoat before applying the topcoats..
- Wooden surfaces should be primed with Versus Pink Wood primer and followed with Versus Universal Undercoat.
- Galvanized Iron should be cleaned first with Versus Galvanized Iron Cleaner until a water break free surface has been achieved. Thereafter prime with Versus Galvanized Iron Primer and followed with Versus Universal Undercoat.
- Rusted Metals should be wire brushed or sanded to remove all rust. Prime with Versus Steel Primer. Thereafter apply Versus Universal Undercoat.
- PVC gutters and downpipes should be degreased and then abraded with fine sandpaper. Apply the topcoat.
- Previously Painted Surfaces must be sound, clean and dry before painting.
After all surfaces are sound, clean and dry apply one coat of Versus Universal Undercoat as a tie coat. Other areas that have chalked and are powdery should be well sanded and sealed with Versus Plaster Primer.
STORAGE: |
- Keep containers properly sealed.
- Store away from direct heat, sun and severe cold.
PACKAGING: |
- 1 Liter and 5 Litres. (20 Litres on request).
PRECAUTIONS: |
- Detailed safety information: refers to the material safety data sheet for this product.
- Do not apply directly to bare surfaces.
- Do not paint in wet or cold weather. (Minimum 5ºC.)
- Drying times will be extended during wet or cold weather conditions.
- Application must be even to prevent variations in gloss levels.
- Yellowing will occur with time in dark areas.
