PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: |
A durable pigmented cementitious coating, which contains weather, ultra violet resistant chemicals and self-curing properties.
USES: |
- To provide a durable economic water resistant coating direct onto block or similar walls eliminating the need of plastering.
- To paint onto acrylic painted surfaces.
- Painting onto external plaster surfaces.
- High obliteration styrene acrylic based first coater designed for interior and exterior cement plaster.

PRODUCT INFORMATION: |
- Type: Cement based coating, reinforced with solid acrylic resin.
- Appearance: Natural aged finish.
- Colors: White and pastel shades by request.
- Recommended Dry Film Thickness: 200 µ per coat.
- Flash Point: Non-flammable.
APPLICATION DETAILS: |
- Mixing: Stir well before use.
- Method: Sheepskin roller or brush.
- Thinning: Not recommended, but tap water if required. Thinning reduces the opacity.
- Clean up: Tap water.
- Spreading rate: 8m²/25Kg bag – depending on depth film thickness.
- Conditions: Avoid painting in wet or cold weather. Minimum temp 8℃.
- Drying time: Touch dry ½ – 1 hour. Hard dry 3 hours at 25 degrees.
- Requirements: 1 coat.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE /MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Brush application:
- To 10 liters of water, slowly add 25 kg Versus Elegance Cement Coating.
- Mix well to avoid the formation of lumps.
- Allow to stand for 10 minutes and use within 1 hour.
Trowel application:
- As for brush application, using only 6 liters of water.
Spray application:
- As for brush application using 7 liters of water.
Although cement paint is self-curing, it is recommended that to achieve a fast hard finish especially externally in hot dry conditions, the painted surface should be wet down three times during the day after the application.
This will also help achieve an aged weathered look sooner.

Gypsum ceiling boards prime with 1 coat Versus Plaster Primer.
- Previously painted surfaces:
All paint that is powdered, soft, blistered, loose or flaking should be removed by scraping, wire brushing or sanding.
The surface should then be cleaned and allowed to dry.
STORAGE: |
- Keep containers properly sealed.
- Store away from direct heat, sun and severe cold.
PACKAGING: |
- 25 KG bags.
PRECAUTIONS: |

- Do not apply before the ambient temperature is above 8ºC.
- Do not apply exterior of rain is expected with 4-6 hours of application.
- Drying times will be extended during wet or cold weather conditions.
- Do not apply direct to chalky or friable surfaces.
- Do not apply directly to bare metal surfaces.
