APPLICATION DETAILS: |
Mixing: | Sir until homogeneous with a flat paddle |
Application Conditions: | Surface temperature between 10-35°ͨ Relative Humidity between 10-85% or 2°ͨ above dew point minimum |
Application Methods: | Brush, Rollers or spray |
Thinning: | Thinning not recommended. For conventional spray applications thin with 5 to 10% Etch Primer thinner |
Drying Time: | Touch dry 1 hour at 23°ͨ (Recoating times will be extended during cool, wet or humid conditions) |
Cleaning of equipment: | After use, remove as much product as possible, and then clean immediately with Etch Primer Thinner |
Substrates: | Well prepared Galvanized iron and non-ferrous metals Ensure surfaces are pre-cleaned. |
Coats Required: | Apply one to two coats Versus Galvanized Iron Primer depending on the severity of the conditions. |
Top Coat: | Over- coat primer with two coats of selected Versus decorative top coat. |
Precautions: | Do not apply during cold (below 10°ͨ) or wet weather. Not suitable for direct application to powdery or friable surfaces whether previously painted or not. Do not apply over rusty unprepared metal surfaces. Quick drying- avoid application to very tot surfaces. Not designed to withstand prolonged natural weathering. It should be over coated with conventional coatings within 18-24 hours, particularly in marine atmosphere. |
